Information I may collect

Depending on how you interact with me, I may collect:

  • Contact and enquiry information, such as your name, email, telephone number, location, and messages.

  • Booking and service information, such as appointments, service preferences, goals, attendance, and communications.

  • Relevant fitness or health information you choose to share, such as exercise experience, movement limitations, pregnancy or postpartum status, menopause-related concerns, injury, pain, or exercise restrictions. Some privacy laws treat this as sensitive information. Please share only what is relevant to your training. Please don’t send medical records through a public website form or social media.

  • Payment and billing information: I collect and use the information needed to confirm and reconcile payments, issue invoices, manage refunds or payment questions, and maintain accounting and tax records. If you pay by Zelle in the United States or by bank transfer to my IBAN in Germany, this may include your name, the email address or phone number associated with a Zelle payment, the amount, date, payment reference, and confirmation or status of the transaction, to the extent that information is visible to me. Zelle and the banks involved process payment information under their own terms and privacy notices. I do not collect your online banking login details.

  • Website and device information, such as browser or device type, pages visited, IP address, and security logs, where collected by my website or its providers.

  • Photos, videos, or testimonials, if you provide them or separately agree to their use. I will obtain any required permission before using identifiable client material for marketing.

How I use information

I use information to respond to enquiries; arrange bookings; provide and adapt training; communicate about sessions; process payments and maintain business records; operate and secure my website; and meet legal obligations or handle legal claims.

I may send marketing messages where you have requested or agreed to receive them, subject to applicable law. You can unsubscribe or withdraw consent as described in the message or by contacting me.

Where required by law, I will obtain consent before using sensitive health information, sending marketing, or using non-essential cookies. Consent for training, marketing, cookies, photos, and testimonials will be handled separately.

When I share information

I may share information with providers that help me run my business, such as:

  • Email and scheduling providers: Squarespace and Godaddy

  • Video-call providers for online training: T-Mobile

  • Payment, invoicing, or file-storage providers: Squarespace and Godaddy

  • Analytics, marketing, or cookie-consent providers: Squarespace and Godaddy

  • I may also share information when required by law or when necessary to protect someone’s safety or handle a legal claim.

International processing and retention

Some providers may process information in a country different from yours. Where required, I will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

I keep enquiry information from people who do not become clients for 3 years after our last contact. I keep client booking and training records for 8 years after services end. I keep health-related information only for as long as it is needed to plan and adapt training, and then securely delete or anonymize it unless I need to retain it for a legal reason. I keep invoices and payment records for the period required by applicable tax and accounting laws.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may be able to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your information; object to or restrict some uses; or withdraw consent. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. You may still receive essential messages about a booking or service.
