Other than that, I do have a few things to tell you about.
1. NAC German championships and Miss Universe competition
On Nov. 24, the NAC German bodybuilding and fitness championships took place in Ludwigsfelde near Berlin. I was pretty happy with my new choreography that included a few new and cool elements. The line-up was not that great since I went a bit overboard with my diet and arrived too thin and defined. But in the end, I made 2nd place and easily qualified for the Universe competition.
The Miss Universe took place in Hamburg/Germany on the following weekend and I felt in better shape this time after adjusting my diet and eating more. Competition in my class was quite strong with 20 international contestants but my choreography went well in both judging rounds and I was very happy with the line-up, both in Bikini and evening dress.
In the end it came down to a photo finish with me taking second place as the best German competitor after Dora Szàntai from Hungary who was the runner-up when I won the Universe competition in 2005. Dora ended up just 4 points ahead of me while the difference to third-placed contestant was 64 points!
